updates!!
Hello All! Sorry for the lack of posting around here. Last week was busy getting ready for our show on the 31st, then I was without my computer for a few days. Needless to say, I wasn’t great at keeping up with the blog :/
Anyways, I wanted to share some updates with you 🙂 The show on the 25th went great!! Thanks so much for praying for us! It was the first time we had done the new school show we had written (yay!) The students really seemed to enjoy it and we even had a time of q & a with them afterwards which was really cool! We are waiting for some video from that show and will post clips here when they’re ready to view.
We also got to do shows for the harvest festival at our church last Thursday! That was a lot of fun – families, lots of candy, and some really great costumes 🙂 We talked about sin and how God feels when we make poor choices.
We also launched the new website that day – woo hoo!! I shared it on Facebook, but if you haven’t gotten a chance to check it out, please stop by and take a look! We’re (officially!!) at www.witandfolly.com! There’s still a few things we’re working on for it, but it is up and running!! So excited!
It’s November already (which of course means that Christmas is just around the corner!!) I love this time of the year so much 🙂 These next couple of months we’ll be working on a few projects, including writing and building a new show that we hope to share in churches next year! We’re also continuing to pray about some practical needs for Wit & Folly (like a sound system!) Please pray with us (I know a lot of you have, which has been such an incredible blessing!) for open doors as we continue to walk in this new venture with the Lord! He has a good plan and we want to stay in step with Him – not running ahead or falling behind or even just getting distracted. We want to be found faithful!
If you’re not yet following Wit & Folly on Facebook and you’d like to (we’d love to have you :), you can join the fun here! Also, our new puppet business cards arrived today! I’m so happy with how these turned out!
Kind of business in the front, party in the back 🙂 Okay, that was a bad joke, but seriously, they’re so cool!! One side has our logo and all our contact info, and the other side turns into a puppet when you put your fingers through the holes 🙂
In other blogging news, there are still a few things that I haven’t gotten to post about from the summer and of course there’s new stuff happening everyday! So please come back and visit soon! Y’all are a blessing, seriously 🙂
