hi there

Soooo….how’s it going?  Did y’all miss me?  I missed you!  I really did 🙁  My last post was in July – three whole months ago!  There’s been so very much going on.  Seriously, since my last post, my sister got married, I turned 30 (yikes!), Branden and I celebrated our 12th anniversary (yikes again!!), I worked a “real” job (first time since I’ve been a mom!), my sweet Silas skyrocketed out of babyhood and turned 6, we’ve started school again, and some other really amazing stuff that I can’t wait to tell you about 🙂

I’ve wanted to sit down and journal it all here, even started posts in my head, but life kind of snowballed and I didn’t do it.  Sad 🙁  Until now!  So, I know there’s a lot of catching up to do, and there will be new things to write about, but I’m determined to do it – even if it might be confusing jumping back and forth from the past to the present – I’m going to get it all down (hopefully 🙂

But, since I missed y’all so much, and since you haven’t seen me or my cute kids or my amazing husband for such a long time, I thought I’d start with this: our family pictures for this year!  I really really love these 🙂  Seriously, maybe some of my favorites of our little clan.  I’m finding I love unconventional ways of capturing people in photography, documenting their personalities and how they are together, it’s what makes photography so important!  Anyways, here is a small collection from this year’s family pictures.  There are actually 50+ more where these came from – no lie!  Please enjoy 🙂
