~ day 8 ~

Colorado is so pretty! Having left for about six years to be a Texan, I have a daily appreciation for how beautiful the Lord made this state 🙂 (Though I did love living in Texas, for so many other reasons!) It’s fall here, but most of the trees have lost their colors. Autumn always seems to come and go too quickly!

Yesterday the boys and I were up at my parents’ place. In the afternoon we took their dog for a walk and I was surprised to find a few trees still full and colorful! They were between buildings, so maybe the wind hadn’t shaken them too much. The boys played in the leaves while I took a few pictures.
