day 16

~  day 16  ~

I am so thankful for God’s Word!  Not only that it is true and historical and proven, but that the Lord uses it to teach me!  I’ve never not had a Bible; I grew up with them in our home.  But I feel like, especially in the last year, the Lord has used it so many times to speak in real and personal ways to me, to grow and challenge and encourage me in whatever situation I’m in.  His Word is alive!  It’s amazing and I’m so so thankful!

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”        ~ Hebrews 4:12
