it’s been a while
It’s been a while since I posted any photography work around here. I stepped back from doing sessions full time in October of 2012. Apparently I needed time to focus on some other things 🙂 In the last fifteen months, I haven’t done any marketing or advertising, no mini sessions or promotions. When I stopped pursuing photography as a career, Branden and I both felt like the Lord would just have us pray through any photography opportunities that came my way.
So, I have done a few sessions, just as they fit into our schedule and list of priorities that Jesus is rearranging. I wanted to share a few of my favorite images from some of those sessions here. I love photography 🙂 I love working with people and giving families this amazing, tangible way to freeze time – interactions, personalities, relationships – all frozen into an image, a piece of history, their story, for them to hold and remember and relive over and over!
Anyways, over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing a few sessions from the last year. Like a said, I didn’t shoot a ton, but I hope you’ll still enjoy! Here’s a session from July. This is actually my uncle and his gorgeous family, visiting the states from Europe, and hanging out with me and my camera 🙂 It was actually the first time I’d seen my uncle in about ten years! And the first time meeting his beautiful wife and kiddos. Such a treat to get to capture them during their stateside tour. We really just went out into a field and had some fun!
